- Clean: the BFM fitting is 100% leak- and dust-free, which significantly reduces cleaning time and costs and therefore leads to fewer breakdowns and unplanned downtime in the production process. Because product cannot accumulate, there is better hygiene and therefore a cleaner process. Our BFM fittings set a new standard for hygiene. Seeflex fittings are 3A approved and FDA and USDA compliant. The Seeflex 020E, Seeflex 040E, Seeflex 040AS, Seeflex 060ES, Teflex NP, Teflex Opaque and LM3 and LM4 are all food grade according to EC 10/2011.
- Efficient:the BFM fitting can be changed very quickly and without tools. This means less downtime due to shorter change times. With the BFM fitting, you can easily standardize the cuffs you need, which means less stock is needed.
- Safe: Most BFM fittings can be assembled without tools. Especially for fittings near rotating machinery, we have a solution. In fact, replacing fittings located near moving and rotating parts can be very dangerous. Therefore, we recommend using the BFM fitting with TR (Tool Release). This version, thanks to its reinforced snap ring, is almost impossible to remove by hand and prevents accidents when removing the fitting manually.

Features of our BMF fittings are:
- Prevention of contamination: the BFM fitting solves the problem of product accumulation between the end of the pipe and a cuff. The smooth connection of the BFM fitting into the adapter prevents contamination.
- Visible product flow: the clear polyurethane cuffs make it possible to follow the product through the plant and quickly identify any blockages.
- Dust-proof: the perfect fit of the BFM fitting creates a 100% dust-proof connection, even on moving and vibrating equipment.
- Resistant to high pressure:the BFM fitting can handle high pressure without leakage. Overpressure causes the traditional fitting to come out of its clamps. Instead, the BFM fitting takes advantage of the pressure by clamping extra tightly in the BFM adapter.
- Vacuum resistant:the BFM fitting can withstand a negative pressure of 1000 mm water column. For even higher vacuum resistance, a fitting with an anti-implosion reinforcement ring is optionally available and the special TR fitting can be used.
- Cost-effective: We provide fittings in various designs and materials, such as polyurethane. These last longer than rubber and woven alternatives.
- ATEX resistant: our BFM fittings are explosion resistant and therefore suitable when handling products with a static charge. If a "small" explosion does occur in a piece of equipment, the risk of a secondary explosion remains limited because the BFM fitting does not rupture. Our technical consultants have the right knowledge and are able to safely and carefully install an appropriate ATEX solution for any process.
BFM fittings can be easily and quickly placed between two adapters. Fitting these adapters to your factory equipment is easy, but sometimes requires attention. For example, the angle of the adapter should be correct, the fitting should not be overstretched, but should also not be pressed in too much. Big Bag loader
In many process industries, big bags are used for fast and efficient filling of bulk packaging. To prevent leakage, contamination and product loss during filling, we have a new solution in the range: the Big Bag loader. This allows big bags to be filled safely, leak-free and efficiently.
This works as follows: the Big Bag-loader is inflatable and can be easily attached to the adapter, which ensures a perfect fit with the BFM fitting, thus 100% leak-free! The Big Bag-loader comes with an air fitting that connects to a standard 8 mm pneumatic air line that inflates the outer layer of the Big Bag-loader. Once inflated, the Seeflex outer layer holds the end of the cuff in place so there are no leaks during filling. Once the big bag is filled, the air is released from the fitting and the big bag can be easily released. With the BFM Big Bag loader, efficient and hygienic loading of bulk in big bags becomes very easy!
DSH-Hoppers
During the transshipment of dry, loose, granular materials and granules, dust generation is a well-known problem. It is common for hazardous limits to be exceeded during the (re)loading of trucks, ships, rail cars and sheds, or for personal complaints to arise. There is also a risk of dust explosions. Thus, a key concern here is to reduce dust generation during (re)loading with minimal product loss. Our advice is to hang a DSH loading system below the loading point, such as a conveyor belt, floating above the bulk or tanker truck. When dumping, the DSH removes excess air from the raw material, causing it to fall down in a tight stream, with minimal dust generation and atomization. Thus, the product is not lost and the risk of dust explosions is reduced.
Masterflex industrial hoses and fittings
We have a large number of industrial hoses in our range for conveying solids or liquids, powders, as well as sand, pebbles and grains. These include transport hoses, food hoses, high-temperature hoses and chemical-resistant hoses. The range of hoses is very extensive, so there is always a hose to suit your situation.
